As a foal Luna won a local foal show where she was awarded 888888, 48 points. (Type, conformation, legs, walk, trot and gallop, 10 points is maximum in each category.) Medialuna is an incredibly beautiful pony who is also a very promising brood mare. Her mother, Mahrdorf Miranda has so far been extremely successful as a brood mare. Her only colt foal is licensed in Hannover and she has also produced a number of excellent filly foals.

Mozzarella MW, winner of the Swedish national jumping test for three year olds in 2005 and Mercedes MW winner of the same competition but for her outstanding gaits in 2007, are but two of her exceedingly successful close relatives.

Luna was shown as a three year old and was then awarded 887787, 45 points for gaits and 887766, 42 points for jumping ability. (the points for walk and trot are replaced by the points for jumping ability; cooperation and technique/ability respectively) Needless to say she did not have a good day that day, she was in foal at the time and probably did not think she should be burdened with exercise!

Luna's first foal, Elphins Sirius, a beautiful colt, was born in 2006. We decided not to cover her in 2006 but did so in 2007 and on May 24 2008 she produced a lovely filly foal, Elphins Stella.

She has been broken in and shows great potential under saddle. She measures approximately 145 cm.
