Mozzarella was awarded 887798, 47 points when shown as a foal. (Type, conformation, legs, walk, trot and gallop, 10 points is maximum in each category.) Mozzarella's main assets are her lovely temperament, excellent gaits, and her outstanding jumping ability. As a matter of fact one cannot ask for much more.

When shown at the Regional test for three year olds, Mozzarella was awarded 888889, 49 points for gaits and 888999, 51 points for her jumping ability. (the points for walk and trot are replaced by the points for jumping ability; cooperation and technique/ability respectively) At the Swedish national test she broke her own record in jumping and was awarded 10-10 for jumping out of a possible 10-10! Her breeder and handler, Maria Winberg, did an excellent job, as always, and we are forever grateful!

Mozarella's first foal, Elphins Stilton, a lovely colt, was born in 2006. In 2007 his full brother, Elphins Roquefort, was born and he shows just as much promise. 2008 has proven to be a repetition of 2006 and 2007, on June 19 Mozzarella produced a black colt foal, Elphins Camembert.

Although we weren't going to cover Mozzarella in 2008 it has somehow been done anyway (how do these things happen?). As yet we don't know if she's in foal or not. The stallion is as before Verona's Gerswin RP 136.
