ELPHINS ROQUEFORT. Colt born 2007. The third black colt in a row born at the Elphin Stud! Rocky has many features in common with his full brother Stilton for which we are very pleased. Yet another full sibling will be born in 2008 if all goes according to plan, another black colt perhaps?

At the Swedish Riding Pony Society local show in Bollerup 2007 Rocky was Best Colt Foal and Reserv Best Foal only beaten by his (more than) half sister Minou, who's mother, Mahrdorf Miranda is Rocky's great great grandmother. Both foals are by Verona's Gerswin RP 136. Mahrdorf Miranda is also the mother of Medialuna MW , one of our broodmares. In addition to our success at the show it was won by Mercedes MW, who is yet another close relative, by Verona's Gerswin RP 136 out of Mahrdorf Melody, Rocky's grandmother. Rocky was awarded 987788, 47 points. (Type, conformation, legs, walk, trot and gallop, 10 points is maximum in each category.)
